About
SW Textiles: A Second Phase
I started sewing at the age of 5 on the machine my father bought my mother in Japan on his way home from a tour in Vietnam. Fabric craft has been a lifelong passion. I started doing upholstery work many years ago when I couldn’t find someone to do a project in under 8 months.
This is my second phase. I spent nearly 40 years working in communication, more than 20 of it running my own international consultancy. While traveling the world for client work, I always stopped into local fabric shops. As a result, I’ve sewn with fabrics from literally all over the world.
Now, I bring my expert skills to people who want to:
• Rescue a great piece of furniture
• Redesign a room
• Be comfortable in a great-fitting wardrobe
• Party in a fun piece of festival or concert wear
• Own a wearable art piece
